광주 대표 연극 <애꾸눈 광대 - 어머님 전상서>, 오는 11월 국회서 공연

광주에 볼만한 공연작품이 생겼다. '토박이' 상품이다. 순전히 '광주산'인 데다 광주에서 생긴 극단 토박이의 신동호 전 대표가 감독을 맡았으니 진짜 토박이 공연이다. 지금까지 무려 120회 정도의 공연을 했다 하니 지방예술품으로는 돋보이는 작품이다.

때로는 깊은 슬픔과 눈물이 보여주다가 가끔은 웃음과 해학으로 관객의 애락(哀樂)을 잡아당긴다. 그러다가 관객들은 결국 광주의 역사, 아니 한국 민주주의가 겪었던 가장 불행한 현대사 속에 빠져들고 만다.
