2011 호국보훈의 달 모범국가보훈대상자 국민추천 안내


  우리처에서는 호국보훈의 달을 맞이하여 국가와 사회발전에 기여한 국가보훈대상자와 그 유가족을 적극 발굴·포상하므로서 보훈가족의 자긍심 고취 및 사기 진작을 위해 노력하고 있으며, 보이지 않는 곳에서 국가·사회발전에 기여한 숨은 유공자를 중점적으로 발굴·포상하기 위하여 “국민추천제”를 운영하고 있습니다.


  2011년도 호국보훈의 달 모범국가보훈대상자 국민추천은 정부포상(국민훈장, 국민포장, 대통령표창, 총리표창)대상자에 한하며 국가보훈처포상포털시스템(http://gonghun.mpva.go.kr), 기관방문, 우편 등을 통하여 추천받고 있습니다.

추천기한은 공적확인 및 심사일정 등을 고려해야 하므로 추천대상 주소지 관할 보훈청에 문의 하시기 바랍니다.

2000년대에 태어난 저에게는 조선시대 만큼 옛날로 느껴졌던 역사였습니다. 역사시간에 그저 시험을 위해서만 의미 없이 날짜와 얼굴도 모르는 사람의 이름을 외우고 시험이 끝나면 까먹기 일쑤였죠. 하지만 오늘 5.18을 추모하며 몇 가지 영상을 보니 과거의 제 자신이 너무나도 부끄럽게 느껴졌습니다. 5.18이 없었다면 아마 지금의 제가 민주 항쟁을 하고 있을지도 모르니까요. 당시 자신을 희생하면서까지 오늘의 제가, 오늘의 대한민국이 있게 해주신 분들의 노력을 잊지 않겠습니다. 역사를 잊은 민족에게는 미래가 없다는 말이 뼈저리게 느껴지는 하루일 것 같습니다.
