안녕하십니까?


나라 안 밖으로 중대한 변화들이 많았던 한 해입니다. 


민주주의의 진전을 위해서도,  경제의 어려움을 극복하기 위해서도


더욱  마음을 다잡고 힘을 모아야할 시점입니다.


가중되는 어려움으로 마음까지 움추려 계시지는 않는지요?


2008년을 돌아보고 회원들 간의 친목을 도모하는 자리를 마련하였사오니


모두 참석하시어


이 땅의 민주주의와 본 회 발전을 위한 힘과 지혜를 모아주시고


그동안 궁금했던 동지들의 안부와 소식도 나누는  자리를

나라의 민주화를 이루기 위해 무력을 동원한 전두환의 탄압에도 끝까지 맞서 대항해주신 숭고한 이 희생, 절대 잊지 않겠습니다. 역사의 한 부분이 되어 나라를 위해 한 몸 바쳐서 싸워주신 모든 분들께 감사의 마음과 함께 안타까움을 표합니다. 부디 하늘에 가서는 편히 쉬셨으면 좋겠습니다.

그 당시 일어난 5.18 사건은 지금 생각해도 말이 되지 않고, 믿을 수 없는 일들입니다. 두려웠을테지만 그에 맞써 싸워주신 5.18 민주 영령들의 숭고한 희생을 절대 잊지 않겠습니다.

5월 18일은 꼭 기억해야하는 날중에 하나였던것 같습니다 역사를 잊은 민족에게 미래는 없듯이 그날 많은 분들의
희생으로 인해 이제는 우리 대한민국 국민이 더 똘똘뭉쳐 힘이 세졌습니다. 5월은 가슴아픈날이기도 하지만 감사한날인것도 같습니다 5월 18일은 우리 국민 모두가 두고두고 기억해야할날이고 그분들에 희생과 아픔을 헛되게 하지말아야한다고 생각합니다. 감사합니다 ...

저는 목포 사람입니다. 저희 아버지 또한 목포사람입니다. 5.18 민주화 항쟁 당시 저희 아버지는 고등학생이셨습니다. 광주와 정말 가까운 위치임에도 불구하고 저희 아버지는 제대로 밝혀지지 전까지 폭동으로 알고 계셨다고 합니다. 하지만 지금 우리는 폭동이 아닌 것을,우리가 지금 이렇게 살 수 있게 만들어준 것을 인지하고 있기에 잊지 말아야 합니다. 거기선 편히 쉬세요.
