(오마이뉴스) 제37주년 5.18 광주민주화운동 기념일이 이틀 앞으로 다가온 가운데, 16일 서울 삼각지역 앞 서울지방보훈청 청사 벽면에 5.18을 기념하는 플래카드가 걸렸다.
 

18일 오전 광주 5.18 국립묘지에서는 문재인 대통령을 비롯한 여야 인사들과 5.18 민주유공자, 유족, 각계인사, 시민 등 2500여 명이 참석한 가운데 정부기념식이 열릴 예정이다.

특히 문 대통령이 취임 직후 업무 지시에서 5.18 기념식에서 '임을 위한 행진곡'을 제창하도록 지시한 것으로 알려지면서 이명박.박근혜 정부 이후 9년 만에 기념식장에서 대통령 이하 참석자들이 함께 임을 위한 행진곡을 부를 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
